DescriptionThree-phase distribution transformator IMG 8089 Hurum Norway 23kV 240V.JPG
English: Three-phase, insulated terra (IT) distribution transformer, from Hurum, eastern Norway. Most utility networks in Norway are still IT, with neutral point earthed by a neutral-point diverter (nøytralpunktavleder). Only three power lines (L1-3) are distributed to the consumer, no PE or N-lines. Instead, a voltage spike protection (overspenningsvern) is applied directly at the transformer.
