Global Farmer will be a farm manager simulation which uses OpenStreetMap (OSM) data. Players can pick any place in the world to start their farm.
The game also uses real life soil and temperature data to add accurate variety to different locations.
The game has an internal level editor to make the map data more suitable for the game. The resulting maps can be shared with other players on the Steam Workshop.
