Competition rules
To get everyone excited for State of the Map 2013, we are running a “Most unusual object / sign / situation found whilst surveying” photo competition. The rules cannot be simpler:
- The competition is open to all – you do not need to attend State of the Map 2013.
- Entry is by means of a photograph, which must have been taken in the last 12 months and cannot have won any previous competitions.
- You must be the sole copyright owner of the photograph, and by submitting the photograph you agree to allow OpenStreetMap to display the image on it's websites.
- Only one entry per person.
You can upload your photo direct to the OpenStreetMap wiki (by clicking Upload File to upload the file, then editing this page to add it to the gallery), or post a link to it in the comments of our blog post, or email it to photos AT stateofthemap DOT org. Please note, the SOTM team are working on a small prize for this competition and will confirm it shortly.
The deadline is 23:59 GMT on Friday 6th September (the end of day one of SOTM 2013) so you will need to act quickly.
