A frost heave hazard is an area where the road is known to bulge because of ice underneath the roadway.
How to map
Frost heave hazards may be mapped in the following ways:
- Place a node
at the location of the frost heave hazard traffic sign, tagged traffic_sign=hazard + hazard=frost_heave. - Tag a node along a highway=* way
at the location of the sign. - If the frost heave sign indicates a distance, tag the section of highway=* where the frost heave hazard is present.
